Local softball squad wins national title

CAM-HVAC, an over-70 traveling softball team, won the SSUSA Winter National AA Division Championship in Fort Meyers, Fla., in November. The CAM team went undefeated in the three-day tournament, defeating a team from Wisconsin 24-22 for the title.

CAM team members play locally for Warwick’s Cozy Grille in the R.I. Senior Softball League. They also play on teams in the Warwick City Park Wednesday Morning Senior League.
