Lon Cerel’s ‘Mind Mysteries’at Artists’ Exchange

Posted

Magician/mindreader extraordinaire Lon Cerel will be performing two benefit shows at Artists’ Exchange, 50 Rolfe St. in Cranston, to benefit both Artists’ Exchange and Gateway to Change on Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10 at 7 p.m.

The Warwick native has had a long career performing with top comedians like Henny Youngman, at state fairs and major venues throughout the country. I first met Lon when he was a young man doing magic and balloon animals on the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold circuit. He is in the Guinness Book of World Records for his balloon animal feats.

Cerel has moved his talents into the world “astounding mental abilities,” with a PG-13 rated show he calls “Mind Mysteries: An Evening of Extrasensory Deception.” Mixing comedy, wit, psychology and deductive reasoning, and his own five senses, he will read your mind to create the illusion of a sixth sense. We’ve been following the creative entertainer for years and are always amazed by what he comes up with.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. If you can’t make it this weekend, he’ll be performing on Oct. 16 at the Deans List Academy in Pawtucket, doing another benefit for Best Buddies R.I.
