Lorie G. Okerholm, 38 passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was the beloved daughter of Robert W. and Lorraine G. (Scowcroft) Okerholm. Lorie worked for Walgreens for 15 years, a volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s Home for 20 years, and a member of the URI Special Olympics for 30 years.
She was the adored sister of Kristy and Robert Okerholm; and loving maternal granddaughter of Harriet (Ide) Scowcroft, the late Wilson C. Scowcroft and William C., and Melba M. (Crother) Okerholm. Also, survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, whose lives she has deeply touched.
Her funeral will be held Friday, February 24 2017 at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, followed by service at 11 a.m. in the Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Rd., Warwick. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Visiting hours, Thursday 4-8 p.m.
