Louise S. (Griesbacher) Lutynski, 91, of Warwick, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Lutynski, whom she met and married while he was serving in France during World War II, relocating to the United States to begin their family. They were married for 63 years.

Born in Dettwiller, France, a daughter of the late Marie and Georges Griesbacher, she was a resident of Warwick since 1950. Mrs. Lutynski enjoyed a long career at Marshall & Meier Manufacturing Company. She made her family’s world brighter with her passions for baking, gardening, love of animals and most of all, spending many wonderful hours with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, William G. and his wife, Jean and Eric C. and his wife, Dorothy, both of Warwick; her cherished grandchildren, Erin, Jaime, Matthew, Beth and Andrew; and her seven beloved great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Ryan, Abigail, Michael, Alyssa, Nathan and Annie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield, RI with a collation to follow in the church’s fellowship hall. Burial will be private.
