Lucille M. (LaMonte) Cribari, age 89, of Grotto Avenue, Warwick, died on Friday, February 26, 2016, at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Cribari.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Harvey and Marion (Abrams) LaMonte, she lived in Warwick since 1959. Mrs. Cribari was employed as a supervisor at Food Advisory Catering for 25 years. She later worked as a lunch aide at the John Wickes Elementary School in Warwick for 10 years. Lucille enjoyed bowling, and was a New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. She was a former Girl Scout leader and member of the PTA. With her husband, she was involved in the Warwick West Side Little League.

She was the devoted mother of Carol A. Brown of Maryland and Anne M. Cribari of North Kingstown. She is also survived by a sister, Harriet Burke of Warwick; a sister-in-law, Jane Cribari of Brick, NJ; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Doris Forsythe and Helen V. LaMonte; and a close friend of the late Beverly Jones, Kay Bellevance, and Sallie Falcon.

Her funeral was held on Monday, March 7, from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
