Lynda Ann (Lewis) Hays, 55, of Warwick, passed away peacefully March 11, 2012. She was the wife of G. Alan Hays.
Born in Warwick on Nov. 29, 1956, she was the daughter of John P. Lewis and her late mother, Marguerite W. (Martin) Lewis. Lynda graduated from Pilgrim High School and received her bachelor’s degree and MSW at Rhode Island College. She was employed as Director/Administrator of Sunrise House of AIDS Care Ocean State, Providence. She had previously worked at many nursing homes throughout the state as Director of Administration and Social Work. In her spare time Lynda loved sailing the islands and beaches of the Caribbean.
Besides her father and his wife, Jean Lewis, she is survived by her brother, John P. Lewis Jr. and his wife, Laura Lewis. She also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her many friends, relatives and associates, she will also be greatly missed by her beloved pets, AKA and Wicky.
Her funeral service was held March 17 in Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick.
