Mae N. (Imondi) Watson, 83, died July 5, 2011 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. Watson.
Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Halloway) Imondi and a stepdaughter of Emily Imondi. Mrs. Watson was a supervisor for Gorham Mfg. Textron before retiring. She was a member of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Co. Auxiliary and an avid bingo player.
She is survived by two children, Barbara A. Manning and David A. Watson, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward, John, Ralph and Joseph Imondi, Gloria Cinquegrano, Ruth McQueen and Mildred Rebello.
Her funeral was held July 9 from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave.
