Phoebe Madden, who has trained in New York City with Broadway’s top coaches, performed in regional theater and was soloist with the Rhode Island Philharmonic at Summer’s End, will be joined by trumpeter Ritchee Price and others in bringing show tunes to The Towers in Narragansett during a performance tonight beginning at 8.
Price has performed all over the world with major orchestras such as Lionel Hampton and Count Basie. Venues at which he has appeared include Carnegie Hall, The Hague, Radio City Music Hall and the White House. The two will offer a selection of hit Broadway songs that are perfect for voice and trumpet. They will be accompanied by Gerald Moshell, professor of music at Trinity College, and Philip Martorella, along with Madden’s voice students, Alexandra Fortin, Kristina Horan, Michelle Houle, Rose Kaczmarek, Lindsay Martin, Kathleen Morlock, Rachel Rossetti and Jake Torrey.
Madden lives in Warwick with her husband, attorney Thomas Madden, and their three children.
