Warwick-based Alliance Security, a provider of home security solutions, is the 942nd fastest-growing private company in the country. For the fourth consecutive year, Alliance has been ranked by Inc. magazine and named to its exclusive and increasingly competitive Inc. 5000 list.
The annual list, now in its 33rd year, ranks companies according to percentage revenue growth over the previous three years. In 2010 and 2013, Alliance reported $2.5 million and $14.5 million, respectively, a 478 percent revenue growth.
Inc. magazine also distinguished Alliance as 19th on the list of top performing security companies in the nation, as well as the third fastest growing company in Rhode Island.
“Earning the distinction of one of the fastest growing companies in America serves as validation and motivation,” Alliance CEO Jay Gotra said in a statement. “First, this distinction validates the decision we made 11 years ago to dive head first as a small start-up into the home security industry. This incredible honor also motivates us to work harder to protect as many families as we can throughout the country.”
Alliance has a customer base that spans across 35 states. Gotra attributes continued growth and the latest honor among the country’s top companies to focus on the individuals who comprise Alliance.
“Our vibrant company culture has taken years for us to develop, and it helps us attract individuals who genuinely care about what they do,” he continued. “Our business performance year after year has been owed to employees who have accepted – with open arms – the challenge of thinking outside the box. We’re grateful for a highly engaged team of individuals who continually step up to the plate with ideas on how to improve Alliance.”
Since 2010, Alliance has added over 100 jobs, bringing its total workforce to 300 employees and counting.
Alliance COO and CMO Brian Fabiano further elaborated on Alliance’s organizational culture. “Through our efforts of making Alliance Security an environment where people look forward to showing up for work everyday, we’re simultaneously putting our customers first because our satisfied and highly trained employees are driven to better serve our customers day in, day out.”
Alliance has also been recognized with numerous awards for customer service excellence.
“What surprises me [even though I know it’s coming], is the sheer variety of the paths our entrepreneurs take to success, thematically reflecting how our economy has evolved,” Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg said in a statement. “This year there are far more social media and far fewer computer hardware businesses than there were, say, six years ago. But what doesn’t change is the fearsome creativity unleashed by American entrepreneurship.”
