A 22-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on Wellington Avenue in Cranston on Friday night.
Ryan Rocha, of Cranston, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital following the accident and was later pronounced deceased, according to Cranston police. The crash occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m., police said, when Rocha lost control of the motorcycle and struck a utility pole in the area of 850 Wellington Ave.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted by certified accident reconstruction personnel from the Cranston Police Department.
