Margaret A. (Laffey) Beagen passed away March 3, 2012. She was the devoted wife of Joseph W. Beagen.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Joseph J. Laffey Jr. and the late Margaret A. (Riley) Laffey, she resided in West Warwick since 1982. Margaret was employed as a teacher assistant in the West Warwick Public Schools. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy Bayview and the University of Rhode Island.
She was the loving mother of Margaret M. “Meg” Beagen, Joseph W. Beagen Jr., Jeffrey M. Beagen and Thomas M. Beagen. She also leaves her siblings, Joseph J. Laffey and his wife, Laureen, Michael H. Laffey and his wife, Julie, Mary C. Mahmoud, John T. Laffey and Ann M. Harbison and her husband, Dave; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held March 9 at 8:15 a.m. from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter Church, Fair St. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
