Margaret T. (Betts) Dittmar, age 83, of 300 Lambert Lind Highway, Warwick, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Kent County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Flushing, New York, the daughter of the late Charles K. and Vale (Lang) Betts, she moved to Warwick from Gillette, New Jersey ten years ago. She was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Edwin J. Dittmar, III of Smithfield, and Randolph K. Dittmar of Warwick; a brother, Charles K. Betts, Jr. of Apache Junction, AZ; three grandchildren: Jennifer L. Davis, Randi J. Dittmar, and Giana L. Dittmar; and three great-grandchildren: Jacob, Jonathan, and Mya.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. in the Lakewood Baptist Church, 255 Atlantic Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial will be private. www.barrettandcotter.com
