Marguerite E. (McNamara) Brennan, 89, died Monday, March 7, 2016. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Brennan, Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Rose) McNamara, she resided in Warwick for 60 years. Mrs. Brennan had been employed as a teacher’s aide for many years at the Sherman Elementary School in Warwick. She had been a member of the Emerald Club of the Warwick Elks Lodge. An active communicant of St. Benedict Church, she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

She was the beloved mother of Deborah A. Lusignan, Patricia M. Laurie, Thomas F. Brennan, III, and the late Kathleen M. Townsend; grandmother of Jessica and Joshua Lusignan, Laureen and Sean Brennan and Kaitlyn Townsend; great-grandmother of Zoey Lusignan. She was the sister of the late John McNamara.

Her funeral will be held Friday, March 11, at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave. Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
