Marjolaine G. “Marj” (Howland) Rogers, age 90, formerly of Pensacola Street, Warwick, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Rogers.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ralph C. and Alice R. (Orphin) Howland, she lived in Warwick for over 60 years. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the West Warwick Emblem Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Donalynne R. Ouellette (the late Bernard) of Swansea, MA; two sons, Dale G.H. Rogers (Maggi) of Pawtucket and Dana A. Rogers (Diane) of Pascoag; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Donald C. Rogers, Jr.; and the sister of the late Muriel Jeram, and Ralph Gifford Howland who died in military service in World War II.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, at 9 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 8-9 a.m.

Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
