Mary C. (Wilde) Harrell, 95, passed away March 10, 2015 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She was the wife of the late William C. Harrell.

She was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Julia C. (Murphy) Wilde. Mary was a graduate of Cranston High School, 1936, a member of RI Honor Society, Order of Gregg Artists, and a Girl Scout leader for 15 years. She was employed as a bookkeeper for 40 years for her husband’s business, William C. Harrell Wholesale Meats, Branch Assistant at Scituate Office of Fleet National Bank until her retirement in 1986 and Librarian’s Assistant at the Cranston Public Library for two years. Mary was a communicant of St. Timothy Church, Warwick and a member of the Warwick Senior Services.

She was the mother of Patricia A. Silva (Donald) of Rutherfordton, North Carolina, the late Raymond T. Harrell (Priscilla) of Daytona Beach, Florida and the late Carolyn Riley Gosselin (Edward); sister of the late Thomas A. Wilde; grandmother of Donald, William and David Silva, Lauren Riley Dwyer and the late Michael Riley; great-grandmother of five; step grandmother of four; and step great-grandmother of eleven. She is also survived by nieces, grand nieces, grand nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, March 18 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
