Mary Colleen “Connie” Myette, 79 of Warwick passed away on August 23, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Charles E. Myette Jr.

Born in Columbus, ND, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose Durick and the late

Helen (Seimers) Durick. Connie was “famous” for her backrubs, and her ability to make friends everywhere she went: restaurants, doctors’ offices, church, etc. Everyone loved her, and the joy she brought to their lives through her laughter and good nature. She always wanted to help other people, especially children and the elderly. She worked as a secretary to a judge, and as a nurse’s aide in Crosby, ND, East Greenwich and Middletown. She was a volunteer church organist, and also played piano for nursing home residents. She was passionate about playing bingo and cards, travel (from car rides to cruises), musical concerts, and playing her organ. She treasured her “main man” Charlie Brown for 19 years, her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Connie, “in your honor” we remember you and the loving way you touched our lives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her siblings: Michael Durick and his wife, Janice; the late Kevin Durick and his wife, Judy; Kathy Hendricks and her husband, Peter; Danny Durick, and the late Terrance Durick. She is also survived by her children: Chris Tysse; Kathleen Galbraith and her husband, Todd, and the late Joey Tysse. She is also survived by her stepdaughters: Denise Fox-Flesia and her husband, Gary; Diane E. Snow; and Debra Myette-Flis. She is also survived by two grandchildren: Benjamin and Ingrid (Gailbraith); three step-grandchildren: Robert Fox and his wife, Jennifer; Jennifer Catallo and her husband, Nathan; Rebecca (Myette-Flis); and five step-great-grandchildren: Aria, Braden, Alana, and Benjamin (Fox); and Eliana (Catallo).

A private mass will be held with the family.
