Mary E. (Mattera) Trudeau-Henry, 83, of West Shore Road, died January 25, 2012 at home after an illness. She was the wife of the late Renald Trudeau and Walter Henry.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (McAfee) Mattera. Mary was a hairdresser for 50 years and owner/operator of Mary Henry’s Beauty Shop for 48 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Benedict Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella, where she served as past president.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara E. DiCicco and Mary Ellen Henry; a brother, Joseph Mattera; two grandsons, Walter and William Fairhurst; and a great-grandson, Brandon Fairhurst. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Michael Mattera.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 28 in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. For information and condolences visit www.thequinnfuneralhome.com.
