Mary L. (Brown) Verrier, formerly of Gaspee Point, Warwick, who would have been 100 on October 7th, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2013 at West View Nursing Center in West Warwick. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, H. Arthur Verrier.
Mary is survived by a daughter-in-law, Nancy A. Verrier of East Greenwich; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Arthur R. Verrier and Edward L. Verrier; and all of her siblings. She will be sadly missed by her family, as well as her “family” at West View.
Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 21, at 12 noon in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the West View Nursing Center Patient Activities Fund, 239 Legris Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893.
