Maureen L. (McCaughey) Riordan-Morash, R.N., of Warwick, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Donald G. Morash, Jr.

Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late John B. and Margaret E. (McAuley) McCaughey, she lived in Warwick since 1989. She was a summer resident of Roy Carpenters Beach, Matunuck, and a winter resident of Hillsboro Beach, Florida. Maureen was employed as a registered nurse at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence for 20 years, retiring 16 years ago. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Timothy J. Riordan of Providence, and Terrence J. Riordan and his wife, Wendy of Lincoln; two daughters, Erin M. Riordan and Kara R. Riordan, both of Providence; a step-son, Donald G. Morash, III and his wife, Emily of Warwick; two sisters, Gail A. Johnson-Sweeney and her husband, Bill Sweeney of Bristol, and Joan B. Petit of Warwick; a sister-in-law, Kathleen McCaughey of Lincoln; and eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John B. McCaughey, Jr.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 8:45 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
