Maurice Wolfe, 81, formerly of Cumberland, passed way peacefully on September 2, 2013. He went to join his wife, Pauline C. (Ruest) Wolfe.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, the son of the late Joseph and Yolande (Cretian) Wolfe, he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Wolfe worked as an electrician for Fiberglass, Tupperware and others, retiring from the North Smithfield High School.
He is survived by his daughters: Diane and husband, Neal Erickson, of Warwick and Debra Barrett, of Cranston and a son, Robert and his wife, Carolyn Wolfe, of North Providence. He is also survived by five granddaughters: Kerri Wolfe, Crystal Wild, Tara Heenan, Alcon Wolfe and Michelle Hardy; and four great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by his sisters: Therese M. Petisce and Claire Bouillon.
A private burial will be held at the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetary, Exeter.
