“Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston and PC Friars Basketball coach Ed Cooley are among the national and local celebrities who have donated autographed ties for inclusion in both silent, live and after hours eBay auctions at a fundraiser for the Rhode Island Blood Center tonight from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick.

The event, billed as a Men’s Health Night but open to both men and women, will also feature health information and screening tables, a tie swap and an Ugliest Tie Contest with celebrity judges and a $100 cash prize. Tickets are two for $30 and can be purchased through the Blood Center’s website at www.ribc.org. There will be light refreshments and a cash bar.

The website also has a full list of auction items and a link to the after hours eBay auction, where people who can’t attend will have an opportunity to bid on unique items and support the Blood Center.
