Men’s clothing drive ro benefit homeless at Harrington Hall

A men’s used and new clothing drive, to help the residents of Harrington Hall in Cranston, will be held in Smithfield on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Sponsored by Sen. John J. Tassoni Jr. (D-Dist. 22, Smithfield, North Smithfield), in conjunction with the House of Hope CDC (Community Development Corporation), the clothing drive will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of Executive Auto Sales, 296 George Washington Highway, Smithfield.

Harrington Hall is the largest men’s emergency shelter in Rhode Island, managed by House of Hope.

Senator Tassoni said that individuals who would like to help but do not have used clothing to donate can make a contribution (by check) to the House of Hope, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
