Michael "Mike" George Rouleau, 53 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home.

Mike, who currently lived in St. Petersburg, FL, was born in Epe, Holland on March 24, 1963. He grew up in Sturbridge, MA where he attended Tantasqua Regional High School, and later moved to Warwick, RI. Mike enjoyed various careers including managing his family's dry cleaning business, being a self-employed general contractor, working in the granite countertop business, and most recently hauling yachts across the country. His passions included playing catch with his daughter, cooking, reading, listening to good music, and enjoying the great outdoors.

He is survived by what he always deemed his finest accomplishment, his daughter Haley Rouleau, 18 of Warwick, RI. Mike is also survived by his mother, Marleen Roosen of Holland, his father, Roland Rouleau and his wife, Joan of E. Greenwich, RI, a sister, Claudette (Rouleau) Martin, and her husband, Joe of St. Petersburg, FL, two stepsisters: Lynne (Creer) LaFazia and her husband, Arthur of Warwick, RI, and Catherine (Creer) Murphy and her husband, Frank of East Greenwich, RI; his special godson and nephew , Michael Santurri of Tampa, FL, the mother of his child, Stacy Rouleau, of Warwick, RI, his partner, Joan Syms of St. Petersburg, FL; many loving nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at East Greenwich United Methodist Church located at 1558 South County Trail in East Greenwich, RI at 12:00 noon on Saturday April 16th. There will be a celebration of Mike's life to be held the same day beginning at 2 p.m. at his daughter's home at 133 Arnolds Neck Drive, Warwick RI. All family and friends are invited to attend.
