Michael P. Pomoranski, 90, of Vickery Street died August 24, 2012, at his home. He was the husband of the late Annie F. (Hatton) Pomoranski to whom he was married for 69 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Michael and Frances (Patykiewicz) Pomoranski, he had lived in Warwick for the past 33 years. Mr. Pomoranski was a window washer for Hospital Trust Bank for 32 years retiring in 1983. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Shields Post American Legion.
He leaves one son, Michael Pomoranski of Cranston, 3 daughters, Frances G.Camello of Eden, Utah, Mary Ann McCann of Amherst, New Hampshire and Christine Marchetti of Warwick; one sister, Victoria Harwood of Warwick; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Earl, Bohdan, John, Edward, Paul, Joseph, Tom, and Leo Pomoranski, Mary Rancourt, Alice Theberge and Anna Kwarciak.
His funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, Fair Street, Warwick at 11 a.m. Calling hours 1 hour prior to the funeral.
