In his first start of the season, King pitched a five-inning no-hitter as Hendricken beat Pilgrim 10-0 in a game shortened by the mercy rule. King struck out six in the victory.

“It felt pretty good,” King said. “To be honest. I didn’t have my best stuff. They’re great contact hitters. So I was just letting them hit it and the field worked behind me.”
