Mildred M. (Metivier) Doughty, 86, a retired RN, passed away peacefully January 19, 2014. She was the wife of the late Lester H. Doughty.
She was a daughter of the late William E. and Elizabeth (McPartlan) Metivier. Mildred enjoyed baking, knitting and going to yard sales. She was also a member of the Animal Rescue Leagues of NH and RI where she volunteered.
She was the beloved mother of Leslie A. Doughty, Larry W. Doughty, Lynn M. Doughty and her husband, James Benoit, and Leigh A. Moynihan and her husband, William. Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn and Jason Moynihan. She was the sister of the late William E. Metivier.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd.
