Hendricken junior swimmer Max Miranda keeps tacking on to his numerous accolades.
The All-Stater was in Seattle, Wash., over the weekend, swimming for the Attleboro Blue Fish Swim Club at the 2015 USA Swimming Winter Nationals.
Miranda’s big weekend was highlighted by his finish in the 200-meter butterfly. With his time of 2:01.16 in the B-Final, Miranda earned the title of 18U National Champion in that event. He also earned third place in the B-Final.
Additionally, Miranda secured his third Olympic Trials qualifying time in the 400-meter freestyle while earning third place in the C-Final.
In the 400-meter individual medley, Miranda placed sixth in the A-Final, and he placed 30th overall in the 200-meter individual medley and 52nd in the 200-meter freestyle, respectively, as well.
