Morris Katzoff

Morris Katzoff went to the Center Ring in Heaven on July 5, 2014 after a 7-month illness of pancreatic cancer.

He was the son of the late Norman and Marcia Katzoff, of Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from Pilgrim High School in 1973. He co-authored several books. He was a talented stand-up comic with several puppets, including character voices. He was a professional clown and taught Clown College. He was also a certified hypnotist, the youngest at age 18 and a radio DJ. A very giving and generous person, he was active in various charities. He was a ham operator & was also involved in the Rhode Island CB club. An avid collector of antiques, he was also involved in the Rhode Island Red Cross.

He is survived by his loving wife and close friend, Carol Katzoff; his two children, Krista and Mark; and his four grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Briel, and Seth. He was the loving brother of Mindy-Jill (Katzoff) Tolchinsky and her husband, Jon Tolchinshy. He leaves behind his beloved puppets.

A memorial was held on July 26, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ.
