Mulligan’s Island Golf & Entertainment has announced the launch of a new philanthropic program to assist community organizations in raising funds for their endeavors. The “Gimme” fundraiser provides an opportunity for mini golfers of all ages to come out to Mulligan’s Island throughout the season in support of various worthy causes.
The program is easy. Non-profits (PTAs, sports teams, college service organizations, etc.) simply confirm a date during the 2016 season, Mondays through Thursdays from April to October, and direct their supporters to Mulligan’s Island on that day to play mini golf from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. For each mini-golf player that comes to play on that date, Mulligan’s Island will donate 25 percent of all mini golf entrance fees to the organization. The more participants, the merrier, and the more the non-profit earns for their cause.
“Over the years, we have been privileged to support the good works of many community organizations,” said Michael Friedman, Mulligan’s Island’s managing partner. “As we expand our services and programs at Mulligan’s, it was important for us to create an easy and fun vehicle for nonprofits to benefit their missions. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the ‘Gimme’ fundraiser for the 2016 season.”
To reserve a date and learn more about this opportunity, non-profits should contact Sue Stenhouse, director of partnership development and community outreach, at sstenhouse@mulligansisland.com or 401-464-8855, ext. 105.
