Muriel Regis (Healey) Holloway, age 101, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2014 in the loving care of her daughter, Kris, and son-in-law, Donald. She was the beloved wife of the late Irving “Ted” Holloway.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Millicent (Lichtenberg) and James Healey. A Rhode Island resident her whole life, Muriel “Mooie” had a wonderful, fulfilling life raising six children. She was a talented artist, and enjoyed summers at the beach, boating and entertaining.

Muriel was the mother of the late Robert Gannon, Gerald Gannon, and Janet (Gannon) Donnelly. She is survived by her daughter Kristina (Holloway) Stanley, her sons, Glenn and Bradford Holloway; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home. At the request of the family, all services will be private.
