Mykahla Gardiner of North Kingstown has joined the Senior Care Concepts team of care managers.

“We are so delighted to have Mykahla as part of our team of elder care experts; she brings great enthusiasm, energy and dedication to serving the senior population,” said Jenny Miller, president and owner of Senior Care Concepts of Warwick.

Gardiner’s background includes case management services, securing Medicaid eligibility, nursing home and assisted living placements, and providing assistance to families applying for government benefit programs. Gardiner is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island and has served her community as a volunteer for the North Kingstown chapter of Meals on Wheels, helped coordinate H1N1 vaccination clinics for local seniors and facilitated senior voter outreach for state elections.

Gardiner earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science and English and a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work with a certificate in Gerontology from Rhode Island College.
