Mark Blondin, director of admissions at New England Institute of Technology (NEIT), announced that the college is offering a tuition freeze to all individuals who enroll in a degree program by Dec. 31, 2011, a practice that is uncommon in calculating tuition fees at most other colleges. Each degree program consists of at least two academic years.
New England Institute of Technology has the lowest tuition of any private college in Rhode Island. NEIT offers more than 30 Associate in Science and Bachelor of Science degree programs at its three Rhode Island campuses. These programs offer a hands-on approach to learning in a myriad of technical fields, each coupled with a liberal arts core. Those individuals who enroll in any one of New England Tech’s associate or bachelor degree programs and remains continuously enrolled in their chosen program until graduation will have their tuition fixed or frozen for their entire course of study at NEIT. Not only will students be exempt from any tuition increase, they will also be able to better plan for the financing of their education.
