Warwick-based Greenwood Credit Union (GCU) has announced the appointment of Holly Pettis as Vice President of Commercial Lending. She will be responsible for originating new commercial loans, including commercial mortgages, development construction, multi unit real estate, business loans and lines of credit, and SBA guaranteed loans. Her other duties include managing the credit union’s existing commercial portfolio and current banking relationships. Most recently, she had held a similar position at Bank Newport. Previously, she had served as relationship manager at Navigant Credit Union. She will work with Al Ferri, GCU’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Pettis holds an MBA from Bryant University. She graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.S. degree in Finance, and a minor in Economics. She is actively involved in civic and community activities, including serving as board member and secretary for the Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center. She is a North Providence resident.
