City and fire officials recently celebrated in City Council Chambers the graduation of the most recent class of fire recruits. The program included an honor guard processional, greetings from Deputy Chief Francis Colantonio, an invocation from Father Robert Marciano, a department chaplain, the singing of the national anthem by Lt. John W. Halloran, greetings from Mayor Scott Avedisian, an address from Chief Edmund Armstrong and a benediction by Father Peter Mongeon, a department chaplain.
