The legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six decades. In March of 2013, the band’s multi-platinum two-disc bestseller, The Very Best Of Chicago, Only The Beginning, charted at #1 on two Billboard charts. Now in their 46th consecutive year of touring without missing a single concert date, Chicago’s line-up still includes original band members Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet, James Pankow on trombone and Walt Parazaider on woodwinds.

Lifetime achievements for the band include a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Chicago street dedicated in their honor. Chicago’s record sales top the 100,000,000 mark and include 11 Number One singles and 21 Top 10 singles, including “If You Leave Me Now,” “Hard To Say I’m Sorry,” “Beginnings,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Old Days” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It is.” In fact, an incredible 25 of their 34 albums have been certified platinum. Listed in Billboard magazine’s “Top 100 Artists of All Time,” Chicago came in at #13, the highest charting American band.

After 35 years and over 20 million albums, there can be no doubt as to why the B-52s remain one of rock music’s most beloved and enduring party bands. Naming themselves after Southern slang for exaggerated “bouffant” hairdos, the B-52s got their start taking road trips to New York City for gigs at CBGB’s and a handful of other venues. Before long, their act and songs were the talk of the post-punk underground. With groundbreaking songs like “Rock Lobster,” “Dance This Mess Around” and “Private Idaho,” the B-52s created a lexicon of songs, styles, phrases and images which would set the standard for the development of the ‘alternative music scene’ for the next decade.

The band’s album, Cosmic Thing, soared to the top of the Billboard Album chart in 1989, selling five million copies and yielding their first-ever Top 10 hits — “Love Shack” and “Roam” and a Top 40 hit with “Deadbeat Club.” They played to sold-out audiences worldwide on a tour that would last more than 18 months, including an Earth Day gig before nearly 750,000 people in New York City’s Central Park. More recently, the band enjoyed a thrilling reemergence on the pop scene with their 2008 album, Funplex, and in 2011 the B-52s celebrated its 34th anniversary with a triumphant return to their hometown of Athens, Georgia, delivering a sizzling 90-minute set that was released on a CD, DVD and Blu-ray entitled, The B-52s With the Wild Crowd! Live in Athens, Ga.

From modest beginnings in a Buffalo basement over two decades ago to being a favorite of the jam band and improvisational rock scene, moe. has continued to keep a refreshingly unpretentious attitude which has won them a devoted legion of dedicated fans affectionately dubbed moe.rons. Along the way moe. appeared at Woodstock ’99, played Summerstage at the Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, opened for the Allman Brothers and The Who, performed at Radio City Music Hall on New Year’s Eve in 2006 and 2007 and played at the Bonnaroo Music Festival 5 times between 2002 and 2009.

In the studio, moe’s release of Wormwood in 2003 was an experiment in combining live tracks with studio manipulation that paid off with critical acclaim and four-stars in Blender Magazine. The band followed that recording up with The Conch in 2007, which took the next logical step in exploring this unorthodox, albeit successful, approach. Rolling Stone gave the album a four-star rating and described it as “rolling turbulence with twin tangled spikes of guitar.” The group’s signature extends to vocals too as Rob Derhak, Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey easily trade the role of lead singer with contrasting styles – and a balanced quality. The band’s latest album is entitled, What Happened to the LA LAs.

The British-American rock band, Foreigner, is one of the world’s best-selling groups of all time. The band’s debut album, Foreigner, was released in 1977 and stayed in the Top 20 for a year with hits including “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home”. Subsequent albums yielded more hits, including “Double Vision,” “Hot Blooded,” “Dirty White Boy” and “Head Games”. The band’s release of the album 4 in the early-1980s contained the popular songs “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You” and “Juke Box Hero” and was followed up by the album Provocateur which gave the band its first and only #1 hit, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” a gospel-inspired power ballad written by founding and current band member, Mick Jones. As vital as ever today, Jones was recently named to The Songwriters Hall of Fame, the band was featured in this season premier of VH1 Classic’s Behind the Music Remastered and its song, “I Want To Know What Love Is” was sung by Wynonna Judd on the finale of the popular television show Dancing With The Stars 2013. The band’s latest release is Alive & Rockin’.
