Norman Roy, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was the husband of the late Mary (Neri) Roy.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Isreal and Annie (Ayotte) Roy he has been a resident of Warwick since 1966. He was employed as a machinist for Bulova Watch Co. retiring in 1984. A World War II Air Force veteran, he served in World War II and Korea. An avid surf fisherman, he was a life member of the Mass. Beach Buggy Assoc. He was also a harmonica player and arranging and playing with the Coventry Senior Center Harmonica Band for 20 years.

He was the father of David R. Roy, Norman J. Roy and stepfather of Roland L. Rainville. He also leaves his loving grandchildren; and great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Patrick L. Roy. He was the brother of the late Raymond L., Leo L., Albert G. Roy, Helen Babula and Edith C. Manocchio.

His funeral service will be held Monday, August 18, at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. Information and condolences, visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
