At the CVS Caremark Downtown 5K Awards Dinner held on November 8 at CVS Caremark headquarters, the $75,000 raised for charity through this year’s racing event was awarded in grants to nearly 50 nonprofit organizations and schools from Southern New England. Bishop Hendricken and Toll Gate were among the recipients. The schools will use the grant money to enhance their running programs.
