Even though the weather was unpredictable Sept. 22, 500 walkers came out to take part in the 12th Annual Walk to Defeat ALS. The day turned out to be beautiful and so far, the total raised is $73,000 and still counting. The website www.walkri.org will remain open for additional donations and matching gifts.
