Packages for troops

What started out as some thank you cards made by Pack 7 Buttonwoods Wolf den to be mailed to Sargent Medeiros and his unit of 90 men and women from the Rhode Island Army National Guard serving in Afghanistan turned into a pack-wide event creating a care package for the troops. The boxes containing personal hygiene products, toys, snacks and a Class B uniform shirt to be signed by Medeiros and his unit and returned to the pack when he comes home was mailed Dec. 3rd so that they may arrive by Christmas. Members of Ocean State Jeepsters a local Jeep club that Medeiros is a member of also contributed items and a donation for shipping costs. Pictured from left back row are: Jeff Sacilowski, Wolf Den Leader/ Ocean State Jeepsters Events Coordinator and Joseph Graves, Assistant Scoutmaster.
