I want to say thank you to Anthony Rodrigues and his committee for putting on the Memorial Day Parade. The many hours of planning resulted in a parade that surpassed other years.

Parade of thanks

To the Editor:

I want to say thank you to Anthony Rodrigues and his committee for putting on the Memorial Day Parade. The many hours of planning resulted in a parade that surpassed other years.

A thank you also goes to all of the groups, businesses and individuals who participated in the parade. A big thank you goes to the many people who lined the parade route to show their support. The spirit of the Warwick community showed through.

Also, thanks to John Howell, editor of the Warwick Beacon, for publicizing the parade several times.

Hopefully, next year’s parade will be bigger and better because of the community’s support.
