Paul L. Johnson, 80, of Warwick, passed away on September 9, 2013 at home. He was the beloved husband of Rita C. (Broomfield) Johnson.
Born in Benson, North Carolina, he was a son of the late J. Charles and Dola M. (Pope) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a self employed steel fabricator until his retirement.
He was the devoted father of Elaine M. Greene of Charleston, South Carolina, Mindy B. Petti of East Greenwich, Susan P. Johnson of Johnston, Robert L. Johnson of Warwick, Donald M. Johnson of Tennessee and the late Barbara Jean Kimatian. Loving grandfather of twelve; and great-grandfather of one. Caring brother of Alice Seal of Providence, Lilly-Mae Hall of Benson, NC, Charles Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Z. M. Johnson of Tennessee and the late James Johnson, Elizabeth Parker and Esther Rancourt.
