Paul W. Blaine, 82, of East Greenwich, died peacefully December 3, 2011 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marie R.D. (Bisson) Blaine.

Born in Northfield, Vt., he was a son of the late William B. Blaine and Diana (Perra) Blaine. Mr. Blaine was employed as an electrician with the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics in Groton, Conn. until his retirement in 1987. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed NASCAR.

He leaves his three devoted daughters, Joan Blade of Warwick, Diane Blais of Coventry and Linda E. Holmander of East Greenwich; loving brother of Henry Blaine, James Blaine, Peggy Clarke and Pauline Rock, all of New Hampshire, Rosalie Reynolds of West Warwick and the late William Blaine and William Bernard Blaine Jr. He was the cherished grandfather of five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

His funeral and burial will be private.
