Pauline G. (Raquier) Schwab, 83, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2016 at her son's home in East Greenwich, RI. Pauline was the wife of the late Louis E. Schwab for over 50 years.
Pauline was the daughter of the late Ted and Germaine Raquier. Pauline was born in Woonsocket, RI but lived most of her life in Warwick, RI. She worked for a number of years at the Providence College Bookstore and was a graduate of Gorton High School. Pauline and Lou were longtime members of the East Greenwich Yacht Club and were avid sailors aboard their sailboat "Rapascapa".
She was the mother of Michael L. Schwab and his wife, Nancy, Gary. S. Schwab and his wife, Deborah of Norfolk, MA. She leaves her grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Katy, Steven and Lucy Schwab. She is survived by her two sisters, Claire Zarlenga, Muriel Hoffman and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Connie Blanchard.
A private remembrance will be held for her immediate family.
