Peter C. “Butch” Xynellis

Peter C. “Butch” Xynellis, 49, died June 11, 2012.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Christopher and Bessie (Douladelis) Xynellis. He loved fishing with his son, music, singing, the ocean and outdoors and his boat. He was the owner of the Norwood Grill, former owner Eva’s Family Restaurant and former co-owner of the Town Chef and PJP Airport Restaurant.

Peter was a devoted son, father and brother. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Christopher; his brother, John and the late Paul Xynellis

His funeral will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a service in the Church of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Visiting hours Monday 4-9 p.m.
