Philip A. “Al” Aubin

Philip A. “Al” Aubin, age 87, of Thurman Street, Warwick, died on June 16, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Grace C. (Murray) Aubin.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Philip L. and Caroline O. (Thorpe) Aubin, he was a life-long Warwick resident. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Aubin was a carpenter for over 50 years, and a member of Carpenters Union Local # 94 in Warwick. He was a member of the Warwick Sportsman’s Association, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Philip A. Aubin, Jr. of North Port, Florida, Paul E. Aubin and Edward J. Aubin, both of Warwick, a daughter, Donna J. Doyle of Warwick; a sister, Ada R. Gonya of Warwick; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late J. Edward Aubin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 20, at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours are omitted.
