Philip E. Guevin, 63, of Providence, formerly of Warwick, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of RI.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late James E. and Edith I. (Conti) Guevin. Philip attended the day program at the Arc of Blackstone Valley in Pawtucket, every day for several years and formerly the J. Arthur Trudeau Center JONAH program.

He leaves his sister, Judith Robitaille, of Warwick, a brother, Anthony Guevin, of Alaska; a niece and three nephews; and his caretakers, Shola and Suzanne Adebayo, and their children, Lola and Damola, of Providence. He was the brother of the late Paul Guevin.

His funeral with visitation will begin on Friday, April 24th at 8:15 a.m., in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Committal prayers and burial will be on Monday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield, MA.
