Phyllis A. (Collins) Curtis, of Warwick, 60, passed away at home, Sunday, February 26, 2017.

Raised in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Phillip J. and Mary T. (Horrigan) Collins. Phyllis was a graduate of Cranston High School East, class of 1974. She worked for Lifetouch Photography, and was a lunch aide for the Warwick School Department. Phyllis also worked at RISD, while attending classes. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from RISD in 2002. She was a member of the Literary Volunteers of Kent County, and the Defenders of Animals.

Phyllis was the loving mother of Jennifer L. Duffy and her husband, Gregory, and Christine A. Curtis; loving grandmother of Callie and Alexia; sister of Mary Collins, Eileen Collins, Kathleen Kelleher, and the late James, Candace, and Matthew Collins. She is also survived by a niece, Abigail Reed and her family, and many nieces and nephews of the Curtis family.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m., with a service to follow at 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
