A message from Pilgrim Senior High School:
Dear members of the Pilgrim community,
It is with great sadness that we share with you additional information about the tragic accident last week that took the life of one of our students.
As some of you may be aware, Dillon M. Miller, 15, passed away unexpectedly at his home last week. Born in Warwick, Dillon was a freshman at Pilgrim High School. He was a very good student and an accomplished writer. He enjoyed reading, playing video games, and he loved animals. He had a big heart and he loved to make people laugh.
As you can understand, this is a time of grieving for Dillon's family. They have asked for the Pilgrim community to respect their privacy and give them the space they need to cope with this tragic loss.
Should your son or daughter be experiencing the grief the comes with loss, please know that members of our Crisis Response Team are available to meet with students individually and in groups over the coming days and weeks. Please contact us if you feel your child is in need of additional assistance.
