Pilgrim tennis closes out season

The Pilgrim tennis team closed out its season with a busy stretch last week. The Pats lost a close match to Portsmouth on Monday before falling to Chariho on Wednesday, Cranston West on Thursday and Prout on Saturday. Pilgrim finished the year with a 3-13 record.
Against Portsmouth, the Pats lost 4-3. Thomas Greenburg picked up a victory at No. 2 singles, Sam Adamo won at No. 4 singles, and the team of Matt Morris and Matt Johnson grabbed a victory at No. 3 doubles.
After getting swept by Chariho and Cranston West, the Pats lost 6-1 to Prout. Jacob Anderson had a victory at No. 1 singles.
