An image from surveillance footage shows a woman sought in the fraudulent use of a credit card at the Warwick Avenue Stop & Shop in Cranston, as well as a man she was with at the time of the incident.

Cranston police are attempting to identify a female suspect involved in the fraudulent use of a credit card on May 19 at the Stop & Shop at 275 Warwick Ave. in Cranston.

According to police, the suspect, described as a black female, used a cloned EPPICard Visa credit card to purchase a $100 gift card. Police believe that the credit card was cloned due to the fact that the victim, a resident of Nevada, was still in possession of her card.

The suspect was observed operating a black Chevy and was seen with an unknown black male at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Cranston Police Department at 401-477-5042. Detective Thomas Okolowitcz is investigating the case.
